God blessed us with wonderful weather on Saturday for the 2nd edition of the PMC Cup. More than 100 players turned up to contest for the right to be named PMC Cup champions for 2007. After a short captains' briefing by Kevin and an opening prayer by Maurice, the tournament got underway on both the 7-a-side fields @ Springfield Secondary School. Every single match was keenly contested and very exciting. It is indeed true that team sports bring out the true character of an individual, as strong displays of determination and even outbreaks of temper were observed. Overall, we praise God as no one was seriously injured and everyone had a good time. The prize-giving dinner next week will conclude an eventful tournament.
