It was a difficult day for the Pandas as from the start, we were concerned that we may not even have enough reserves to field. What's more, one or two of our first XI players were carrying injuries. Thankfully, we were able to put out a team with a couple of reserves.
We started off with a 4-4-2 but were quickly pegged back by TCC's incessants attacks. Our opponents were able to spread their play well. Still for the the first 15 minutes, the Pandas were able to soak in their attacks and with Darren giving a good account of himself up front.
The Pandas were stung by the first goal and with the other team's superior passing and cross field play, we were quickly down to 4-0 by the first half.
Changes were made to peg the gaps and the Pandas tried all that we could to chase the game. Many a times, we were closed down very quickly and thus, had to put in direct balls into the opposing half. But still, we conceded another three more goals. We had no answer to their round of play and were soundly beaten. The scoreline is truly a deja vu!

Good effort nonetheless Pandas. Continue to work on the areas for improvement and keep up the good work!
