It's always good to see familiar faces back on the field. The sun was scorching and anyone that thought they could play the entire field had gotta be crazy! What's more, we only had 11 players. We considered playing 5 vs 6, but thank God that more players actually joined in.
Ronnie opened us with devotion and then, play started. It was Pandas vs Panthers but some of the players from the Pandas went over to the other team and vice versa.
It was all hard running with the hot crazy weather. The Panthers seemed to relish the heat and started their scoring spree. Try as hard as the Pandas could, they were taken out time and time again.
Still, the entire game provided both teams with ample opportunities to learn from the various mistakes made. It also allowed the team to tweak their formation and also, try out players in different positions.
After the game, Ronnie highlighted the importance of not losing the ball during our practice matches as the pressure is not as intense as during a competitive match. He also reminded everyone present to keep up the fitness.
